Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre is a hub of activity for all ages. Families come to splash around in the heated pools, children take their first strokes in the 'Learn to Swim' programmes, and adults indulge in wellness activities like aqua aerobics, hydro spin-bikes, and lane swimming.
Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre opened in October 2022. The centre is more than double the capacity of the old TSB Pool Complex. It's home to an 8-lane 25 metre competition pool, 20 metre programme pool, learn to swim pool, toddler pool and a zero-depth splash pad, kitted out with a range of interactive water toys.
Wai o Rua has quickly become a cornerstone of community connection in central Taranaki, ushering in a new era of aquatic recreation and well-being.
Wai o Rua has become a vital part of health and recreation, attracting visitors not only from Stratford but from the broader Taranaki region.
Casual entry fees from $3 to $6, prices vary for group fitness entry, swim school and concession cards.
