Supervisor - Cold Stores:

What we are looking for:

Someone who is reliable and punctual
Strong interpersonal skills delivering positive interpersonal relationships
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations within the cold storage facility
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage, train, and develop staff to meet performance and safety standards
Utilize warehouse management systems effectively
Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
Maintaining a positive work environment
Accurately picking and loading chilled & frozen products on time and in full for our daily outbound trucks
Daily allocation of work tasks and staffing requirements
Ensuring all freight goes to the correct destination and is in perfect condition
Proactively solve challenges and adapt to changing situations
Health and Safety guidelines and compliance are maintained, and any incidents are reported
Preferred experience/skills:

1+ year proven leadership experience within the chilled and frozen transport industry
3+ years experience working in both chilled and frozen environments
Strong knowledge and understanding of MPI and NZTA regulations
An OSH approved Forklift License
Proven experience in training new and existing staff members
Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/WMS/email etc
Flexible about learning new task and skills
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a cold storage or warehousing environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems
Health and safety conscious with a proactive approach
