Te āheinga - The opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Aqua/Fitness Instructor to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality aquatic fitness classes designed to create an energetic and fun exercising environment. Your goal will be to help our clients achieve their aquatic and fitness objectives through engaging and effective workouts.

Tino takohanga - Key responsibilities:

- Ensure planning and delivery of Fitness Centre and associated classes meet customer needs and maximises use of facilities
- Maintain schedules of programmes and update regularly
- Respond to customer questions and provide information
- Assist in ensuring resources are properly used, cleaned and maintained
- Show respect and sensitivity for Tangata Whenua and all other cultures
- Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation
- To undertake and perform any other duties as required by the Fitness Centre Supervisor

Ngā tino pūkenga me ngā wheako - Essential skills and experience:

- Current first aid certificate
- Experience in delivering group exercise classes
- Knowledge of current instructor techniques and workout designs
