We are looking for a Building Services Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract until August 2025. Working alongside our current Services Manager, you'll lead the installation and commissioning of this $250 million state of the art hospital project. As Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing leadership and guidance to the team and financial management for all services work
Driving the project services and planning to successful project completion
Project liaison within Leighs, the client and external stakeholders; which includes overseeing services subcontractors for overall accountability for compliance and quality.
Skills and experience required:
A proven background in a commercial Building Services Management role (a minimum of 5 years but, ideally closer to 10)
Previous experience that includes large scale and highly serviced projects in NZ or Australia is essential, ideally this includes the health sector for a clear advantage
A service qualification in electrical or mechanical discipline
Solid exposure and understanding in commissioning
Seasoned in efficiently managing multiple large subcontractors
Be a natural communicator and collaborator with a proactive and driven approach
Capable of strategic thinking and adept at problem-solving
Have a commitment to delivering work at the highest standard
