Artisan Spice brand Blending spices to making jerk flavours to please every palate.
From my mind to the supermarket shelves and beyond, born out of necessity, grown out of demand. Proud to be a True New Zealand Artisan Brand, made right here in New Plymouth.
My food journey started at the tender age of 14 when I travelled to Jamaica for the first time. it was an eye-opener as I’d never really had a variety of spicy seasonings until that point. From that day forward I began to understand seasonings, salts, spices and what they can do to bring home cooking to restaurant quality. Being a foodie genius, I take combining flavours seriously, however I do try to keep it simple as not to over complicate. We now have Jerk blended oils and they are flying out of the door.
At Mk Spice, they’re rather nice, is all about pushing the nuances into our blended spices making big bold flavours, with no added nasties, i.e., flower, enhancers etc. What we have found with our brand is that it saves you money, also time in the kitchen and the much-needed space in your pantry.
I am a professional TV presenter and have a wonderful media team behind me, so come on Taranaki lets make this a SPECTACULAR year together!
