Manganui is Taranaki's snowboard and ski area featuring small beginner/intermediate, and larger off-piste adventure-type intermediate/advanced terrain.

Manganui Ski Area is accessed from Upper Pembroke Road, passing by Ngati Ruanui Stratford Mountain House and on to the Plateau Carpark.  Expect a reasonably uphill scenic walk from the car park to the skifield which will take approximately 20-25m but there is a Flying Fox lift shortly after the start of the walk to take your equipment to the ski field for you.

Manganui Ski Area has three rope tows and a T-bar covering a beginner-intermediate terrain of 59ha catering to all abilities and self-catering accommodation is available at The Manganui Lodge.
