Kawaroa Park features epic built-into-the-hill slides that kids will love

Kawaroa Park is right next to the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre, overlooking the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, with epic built-into-the-hill slides that descend the hill and feels like you’ll end up in the ocean (you won’t though, there’s plenty stopping you from ending up in the ocean). Venture down the rocks and you’re right at the rockpools to observe some sea life in their habitat. Or simply just go rock-hopping along the rock-built retaining wall along the Coastal Walkway.
