Opened in 2016, smack bang in the heart of the New Plymouth CBD, community-minded Cafe Green Door offers fresh tasty food, mean organic locally roasted coffee, sporadic bursts of live local music & lashings of good vibes!

Our menu and deli options are designed to cater for all dietary needs including a full range of gluten-free sweet treats, keto, vegan, and even fodmap friendly options. Our gluten-free range is produced and served from dedicated seperate areas of the kitchen including separate fryers for all meats and plant-based items.


Almost all of our made-to-order menu can be adjusted to fit even the most left-of-field requirements.


Our knowledgeable friendly staff are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
We offer a large, well-ventilated, 66 seater dining room including a huge outdoor deck overlooking the Huatoki river, takeaways, contactless pickup, and deliveries during open hours. Fully accessible and kid-friendly with highchair and change table available.


Our entire catered/fully licensed venue can be hired out for private events outside of normal operating hours with an offsite catering menu also available.
