We produce All Natural German Sausages and other delicacies from our own butchery.
All Natural German sausages. No fillers, no gluten, no preservatives. We’ve developed a production-site in Uruti, imported Bratwurst equipment from Germany and fine-tuned our recipe. We follow the traditional German method, using premium cuts of Taranaki free-farmed pork and all natural local ingredients.
We've recently opened up the Bratwurst Bros Uruti rest Stop, on SH 3 where we offer all sorts of fixes: Barista made coffee, Smoked Bacon & Egg Rolls, Currywurst with Pommes (fries), Slushies and of course our All Natural German Bratwurst. Take-home packs available too! Daily between 7am and 2pm.
Our business started in 2014 after we encountered a big problem: we couldn’t get our hands on authentic Bratwurst in New Zealand. This became a serious concern as we Germans take our sausage seriously :) The craving for a quality Bratwurst was strong, but the problem was we didn’t want to leave Taranaki, let alone New Zealand! There seemed only one solution: we started making our own.
