At Blue Petal we grow culinary and medicinal herbs, dry them and store on site. Also, keeping bees, allows us to use the honey together with our herbs in the final products.

We at Blue Petal are on a small farmlet a few kilometers from Egmont National Park. Our facilities are in an old converted milking shed set up for drying herbs, extracting the honey and with a commercial kitchen for preparing my products from herbs and the honey from the property.

Our terraced herb field is steadily being populated with annual and perennial herbs and shrubs like: chamomile, thyme, sage, lemon balm, fennel, dill, parsley, lovage, burdock, echinacea, rosemary, garlic, kawakawa, lavender, calendula, marshmallow and many more, much to the pleasure and liking of all the bees and beneficial insects.

Blue Petal does not mass produce plants. Instead, we harvest in a sustainable way and batch produce: teas, seasoning mixes, herbal apple cider mixes, herbal honey mixes and herbal topical balms, following the cycle of the seasons to ensure the products contain the most beneficial properties for our wellbeing.
