Roebuck Farm

Roebuck Farm is an award-winning intensive market garden that grows and delivers produce into local Taranaki restaurants and retailers, internationally acclaimed for its commitment to sustainability and mentorship programmes for other growers.
Sachie spends the day at Roebuck Farm where she is put to work, learning about the farm’s sustainable practices, before finishing the day in the immaculate farm kitchen to cook lamb from Roebuck Farm.

George's Moturoa

Landon Elder, owner of George’s Moturoa, spent many years working as a chef all around the world, and now applies methods he learned overseas to fresh local ingredients.

George’s Moturoa is all about real kai made with real ingredients, inspired by traditional Māori dishes. Sachie meets with Landon as he cooks up his unique twist on a traditional boil up using bacon bones and locally foraged produce.

Proof and Stock Coffee

Tane Morgan and Adrianna Greenhill have created a buzz with Proof and Stock, a coffee roastery and café run inside of a stunning converted garage in the heart of a New Plymouth neighbourhood.

Proof and Stock embody the Māori concept of manaakitanga in everything that they do, and Sachie stops by to learn the art of a good coffee before creating a delicious tiramisu dessert.
