Project Manager – Signature Homes Taranaki Ltd

Signature Homes is a nationally recognised builder of quality homes and is experiencing continuing growth nationally. We are looking for a quality team member to join our Taranaki Franchise as a Project Manager. We are one of the busiest Residential Construction operations in our region .This is a Project Management role that requires a balance of skills .

You would be responsible for building a wide range of homes from those derived from our comprehensive range of standard plans, to one off design and build projects. This will require you to work on several projects at once across several locations all assisted by a comprehensive support team. In this you will be in a client facing role and will be responsible for managing that relationship on behalf of the company. This needs the highest level of communication and organisation to deliver the best service to our clients and contractors.

The Project Manager's primary role, which will be predominantly based in Taranaki to ensure the project is delivered on time to meet our customers' requirements while focusing also on the profitability, construction standards and health and safety of the project.





Skills and experience



The Project Manager's position is a hands-on up-front position, to have control of the projects being built, including but not limited to;

· On site construction - control of sub-trades, construction will be measured on speed, quality and building to the issued purchase orders against a robust budgeting system

· Coordinating and ensuring all aspects of onsite Health and Safety systems and procedures are maintained to the highest levels

· Formulate, and review existing timelines as required

· Maintain an open, friendly and communicative style of management with our project client, suppliers and contractors.

· Report weekly which will include progress to date on:

· Construction (budget and timeliness)

· Supplier performance

· Sub-contractor performance

· Health and safety

· Project Hand overs, organizing quality control assessments and managing the walk-through process with clients
