Digital Communications Manager

This role is responsible for managing our online communication, including social media, website content and search engine optimisation (SEO). This role drives TSB brand preference online with our target demographic on social media, supporting our marketing and business objectives.

Specific duties of the role include:

Developing, implementing, and enhancing a detailed SEO strategy to boost organic search rankings for important keywords, complemented by a robust paid search approach
Creating and scheduling compelling content that resonates with our brand, business strategy, and vision, collaborating closely with the brand team and creative agency to execute paid marketing initiatives;
Developing and distributing social media content across various platforms, creating strategies to expand our target audience and profile. This role is responsible for managing our online communication, including social media, spearheading communication initiatives, and enhancing search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. This role is crucial in enhancing TSB's brand recognition by boosting interaction with our target demographic on social media, all while maintaining coherence with our marketing and business objectives.
Your expertise will include:

Crafting, implementing, and enhancing a detailed SEO strategy to boost organic search rankings for important keywords, complemented by a robust paid search approach to enhance campaign visibility on social media platforms;
Creating and scheduling compelling content that resonates with our brand, business strategy, and vision, collaborating closely with the brand team and creative agency to execute paid marketing initiatives;
Overseeing and distributing social media content across various platforms, devising strategies to expand our target audience and profile, and swiftly addressing any issues related to our reputation;
Working with our media agency to carry out essential keyword research and analysis, translating these findings into practical insights for content optimisation;
Keeping an eye on social media trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to consistently refine and enhance our services in alignment with TSB's strategic objectives;
Establishing specific goals for social media campaigns and SEO, and evaluating and analysing these goals to identify areas for future enhancements through Google Analytics.
Your skills will include:

5+ years' previous experience in a social media or digital communications role with SEO experience
A relevant tertiary qualification
Experience with tools to help manage digital channels including social media platforms and google analytics;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creative writing, editing and proofreading skills and strong stakeholder management;
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy;
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, capable of working effectively at all levels;
Prior experience working in Corporate/ Financial Services environment would be beneficial.
Working with our media agency to carry out essential keyword research and analysis, translating these findings into practical insights for content optimization;
