We are an all-girls Anglican secondary school in Stratford, Taranaki, 30 Minutes from New Plymouth.
Established in 1914, Taranaki Diocesan School is a boutique school for girls, offering small classes and a modern boarding environment with a single room per person. The majority of the students at the school are boarders. Our international students enjoy their experience, as boarding creates lifelong friendships, superior English language skills and international students gain leadership roles.
The school is safe and friendly, with a family atmosphere. We encourage each girl to reach her full potential
Our academic strengths are performing and visual arts, business studies, and science. Girls gain entrance to universities of their choice and their results in national examinations are outstanding.
Extra-curricular opportunities include cultural performances, sports teams, camps, outdoor education, volunteering opportunities, and an International Committee.
